I guess I had a bad experience here. Everybody else says food's good. I had a quesadilla hard to mess up. It was like one dropping of meat in it and barely any cheese. My wife's meal was horrible too when I go back
Tried Don Toro Latin Cuisine in Bonham and it absolutely delivered. The atmosphere was warm and fun, with great music and a really welcoming vibe. The sizzling fajitas came out hot and flavorful, with perfectly seasoned chicken and steak. We also tried several street tacos and every one of them was delicious. The rice, beans, guacamole, and fresh pico were all on point. The margaritas were HUGE and refreshing, and I loved the classic glass bottle Coke touch too. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the experience. If you’re in Bonham and craving great Mexican/Latin food, Don Toro is definitely worth the stop. We’ll absolutely be back!
Chips and salsa not that great! Salsa should be spicier and more flavorful. However, I must say the beef fajitas were excellent, along with the $5 Margarita for happy hour. Refried beans are lacking in flavor as well. We came on a Saturday for lunch and although it was busy we were sat right away, and the staff was attentive. I would go back just for the fajitas and $5 margarita.
